ABOUT

• Due to rapid industrialization, the waste generated in the Philippines is growing at an alarming rate. There are materials, such as the by-products of coconuts, like its husk, shell and coir that may be used as a resource, instead of it being discarded. Utilizing local indigenous materials instead of throwing it away will aid in the reduction of waste, and create sustainable alternatives to conventional materials. With the project tackling on the promotion of how to create a more sustainable society through showcasing the properties of coconut waste and the ways it may be utilized, and informing people about the waste management problem, it will educate, inform, and connect them to give them the opportunity to help develop a more sustainable future.
